Where Is God When the World Hurts?

When Jesus was living He healed the sick and fed the poor. He showed us his compassion towards people who were hurting. God will be back to end all the hurting in this world and that is the long range plan but He also left us with a short range plan: us.  He left this earth so that we would take over. He gave this planet with enough food to fed it, enough people to care for those are hurting, enough medicine for those who are sick, enough money to share……

People often ask, “Where is God when the world or people are in trouble?”.  The better question would be where are the people with all the resources and time when the world or people are in trouble?  

I look at myself as I ask this.
